Strategic Planning

In the 2019-2020 school year, CMLS embarked on a journey to develop a strategic plan. The purpose of the strategic plan is to put key processes in place that will lead to continuous improvement. It is our intent that the strategic plan will be one of many tools to help us become the best version of ourselves.

As the 2020-2021 school year was approaching, the board of education asked the district administration to pause on the deployment of the strategic plan. The board noted with the uncertainty of the year the staff needed to be able to focus on new expectations forced on us by the pandemic. The board of education continued to hone the plan behind the scenes and worked to increase their understanding of the board's future direction and the plan's purpose.

As we look to the future, the documents below will provide guidance and clarity for the district's decision-making process.

1) Clinton-Massie Board of Education Aspirational Goals- The BOE has worked with Dr. Sommers of CF Educational Solutions and used input from the strategic planning process to create three goals with metrics attached to each of them.

2) Board Aspirational Goals Companion Document- A detailed look at each metric.

3) Mission, Vision, and Values Display Document- One of our key processes speaks to the district administration's responsibility in communicating the M,V,V.

4) Path to an updated Mission, Vision, and Values- Many inputs were used to create an updated mission, vision, and values document. The details of this process are explained.

5) Strategic Plan -  The entire strategic plan in full detail.

6) Clinton-Massie Board of Education Strategic Plan Policy Manual- A forward facing document for parents, staff, and students to review processes of planning for the Board of Education. This includes Board of Education and Executive limitations.
