Clinton Massie Local Schools has had a supportive relationship with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) over the past two years.  They have contributed many additions throughout the campus to CMES, CMMS, and CMHS.

  1. Installation of the Keep-n-Track security system that is in CMES, CMMS and CMHS ($4500.00).
  2. Put in the water filtration systems in all three buildings ($4600.00).
  3. Installed a washer/dryer in CMES, including new ventilation and plumbing ($3000.00).
  4. Purchased a new laminator and lamination for CMES ($4000.00), donated the old one to be used by CMMS and CMHS teachers.
  5. Events like COSI, two author visits, Cincinnati Playhouse, and the Zoo ($6000.00) brought to CMES.
  6. Buddy benches were purchased for the CMES playgrounds ($1600.00).
  7. We hosted an anti-bullying speaker ($1400.00) in the evening as a Family event.
  8. Payment for all CMES field trips and for the hourly wages of the bus drivers transporting (budget is $5000.00 plus $1000.00 for Camp Joy).
  9. Teachers have been given books from the Scholastic Book Fair to use in their classrooms yearly
  10. At the beginning of each year, CMES teachers are given gift cards to a teacher supply store to help purchase items for their classroom needs.
  11.  We offer a backpack full of supplies to the children in need throughout the campus along with winter coats, hats and gloves.
  12. Falcon Packs (bags of food that go home on Fridays to nourish children on the weekends) are provided to students throughout the campus.  Kohl’s donates $500.00 almost monthly (except summer months) but with the number of students we serve, the added expense exceeds an additional $300.00 monthly that gets pulled from the PTO budget.
  13. Ticket Town (a rewards store for the CMES students that allows them to purchase items monthly with tickets that they are given for staying on task, good behavior, academics and being a friend to others) is stocked with prizes and incentives.
  14. We sponsor a bike for the D.A.R.E. program.
  15. Meals are supplied to the teachers on conference/report card night and goodies for Holidays and Teacher Appreciation week across the campus.
  16. Family fun events like Roller Skating, Christmas in the Country and the Carnival.
  17. Sponsorships for 5th grade Camp Joy.
  18. Leave No Doubt keychains and the “thank you” campaign postcards from the district purchased by the PTO.
  19. Donation to the completion of the new playground.
  20. Various other purchases throughout to year to support our students and staff.

Without your support of fundraisers and donations to the PTO, we would not be able to contribute as we have.  We thank you for your support and generosity.
